  Eastdale Mall has gotten a bad rep since a shooting incident but I've been going there regularly most of my life and sure the non anchor stores come and go regularly but there are still good places to eat and shop for lower to middle class clientele. It's great for kids with an ice rink and Chuck E Cheese. There's a new PlayStation and Xbox game room. Many older people walk the mall during the day because it's air conditioned and has public bathrooms. The only time you might have issues is Saturday nights, but the closing of the theater and the weekend parental escort policy after 6pm has dramatically helped there. It's really worth coming back to if you haven't been in a while. And they boost security on weekend nights to help but they mostly walk around bored which is actually a good sign. Best of all during summer and a few other times theyg host free family fun nights that are seriously awesome for kids. So come visit!
